Comedian Goes Uncensored in the Desert: “19+ on the 19th” Show Hits Nuweiba
Is Sinai ready for this? On Saturday, April 19th, comedy pioneer Ali Quandil is going fully uncensored — deep in the Sinai desert at sukoon camp.
The show, titled “19+ on the 19th”, promises an adults-only, no-filter performance by Egypt’s original stand-up firestarter. With over 600 shows under his belt, this version of Ali is wilder, freer, and 100% not for kids.
The setting? Sukoon Camp in Nuweiba — one of Sinai’s most laid-back, starlit spots. Think bonfires, sea breeze, and a crowd ready to laugh loud at midnight.

Ali holds the Arab world’s record for longest stand-up sets (54, 70, 92, and 119 minutes). He’s also the man behind Egypt’s first-ever stand-up comedy workshops, mentoring a whole generation of local comics.

Why this matters for Sinai? It’s not just a show. It’s proof that Sinai’s cultural scene is waking up — bold, grown, and confident.
